How do I create my affiliate links?
It’s super easy! Please visit the Wolfe Affiliate Portal page and select Links from the drop-down menu under the Content & Scripts section in the Masthead. You will see a complete explanation here (and a prominent display of your unique affiliate ID) along with a variety of easy-to-use sales tools.

How can I be sure my affiliate links are working properly so I am earning my commissions?
Please be sure to always test your links by clicking through on them and visiting the WolfeVideo.com site. You can tell your link is working if you see a message, just underneath the main WolfeVideo.com top navigation, which says:

“Wolfe would like to welcome our NAME OF YOUR SITE visitors! To return to YOUR SITE URL, click here.”

If you are not seeing that message you’ll need to go back and fix the link using the tools on the Affiliate Portal site. It is your responsibility to make sure all your links are properly created in order for your sales to be effectively tracked so you can be compensated for all sales that come through your website.

How much will I get paid for being an affiliate and how does it work?
Wolfe will pay you a 15% commission on all of our regularly available titles, and a 20% commission on all titles released on the Wolfe Video label. These commissions will be credited to your Affiliate account based on the links you create on your website using your affiliate code number. When visitors to your website follow your link and visit the Wolfe website – you will be paid commissions on purchases that occur during that visit (or additional visits that come through your website and utilize your affiliate code link). If visitors come to the Wolfe website directly (without using your affiliate link) you will not accrue any commissions on those transactions. Your commission is based on Gross Revenue (gross receipts minus sales tax, shipping costs and credit card charges). For transactions to generate commissions for you, each transaction must be complete (the visitor follows the affiliate link from your website to WolfeVideo.com, purchases a DVD, pays for it and receives their order).

A Note About Returns: Commissions on returned titles will be deducted from your subsequent affiliate commission check. If no subsequent affiliate check is due to you, Wolfe will bill you for the amount of the return, and you hereby agree to make payment within 30 days. Please note also that a credit card processing fee of [2.5% of Gross Revenue] will be deducted from each commission check.

When and how will I get paid?
Wolfe Video mails out commission checks on a quarterly basis if your account has earned a minimum of $40 in commissions.  If your quarterly affiliate commission amount due is less than $40, the amount will be carried over to subsequent quarters until it rises above $40, at which point an affiliate commission check will be sent to you.

Can I also use my links in my e-newsletter or on my Facebook page?
Yes, you can! And you definitely should! E-newsletters and social network pages are an excellent place for you to post your affiliate links and increase your affiliate sales — you can use a plain old link or you can even post the DVD box art.

How can I keep track of my sales and commissions?
You can view your current sales activity at any time by using the Wolfe Affiliate Portal page. Just sign in and click on Sales Reports under the Sales & Tracking section in the masthead. You’ll see a list of orders that have come through your site and we’ve even got a handy Potential Commission Value* tracker that shows how much commission per order you should expect to earn.

* Potential Commision Value is the maximum commission you can earn based on the purchase for each item. Actual Commission totals are calculated at the time of commission payout and may have been adjusted for modified orders after they have left the web system, cancelled orders, orders removed for payment decline, back-ordered itmes not processed or shipped, credit card charge-back adjustments, or a reduction in product price due to a studio price reduction or promotional discount. Orders must be completed and fully shipped before a commission amount will be paid on that order. Commissions are based on the actual price paid per item and not on the product Suggested Retail Price or Wolfe Sale Price.
